Starting from Kirknewton, our route follows the College Burn to reach the delightful waterfall at Hethpool Linn. We then join a short section of St Cuthberts Way Before climbing to the summit of Yeavering Bell, the largest and most impressive hillfort in Northumberland.

Here we will have the opportunity to explore some of the many remaining ancient hut circles before descending to the road and returning to Kirknewton.

Please dress for changeable weather, wear walking boots or shoes and bring drinks and snacks.  If you have not already booked online, please pay on arrival. Dogs are not permitted on this walk.
