Are you ready to get active and close to nature? Book your place at Walltown Warrior and throw yourself over, under and through obstacles in the shadow of the spectacular Hadrian’s Wall.

Walltown Warrior is a challenge event for all the family set in Northumberland National Park’s Walltown Country Park, a site with spectacular views, woodlands, wildflowers, ponds and dramatic crags. The perfect backdrop to take on our course designed by Challenge Northumberland.

Have fun and make memories together crawling, climbing and sliding your way around a 3km course that is all about fun and having a go. Whether you are a competitive athlete or complete beginner, you’ll love obstacle’s such as Sandbags to the Crags and Toon Tunnels.

The course is a challenge for all ages and fun to do with friends or family. The minimum age of entry is 6yrs and all children under 12 must have an adult participating alongside them.

Health and Safety

This event is physically active but can be completed at your own pace and ability. You should always seek advice from your GP before taking up a physical activity if you are unsure.

By purchasing a ticket, you accept that you do participate entirely at your own risk and that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are fit and able to take part in the event.

Children under the age of 16 years old are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and need to be accompanied at all times before, during and after the event. Waiver registration will take place ahead of your wave of the event.

Covid Security Measures and Booking Terms

When you book you will be asked to book into a specific wave. Although you must arrive and warm up in this half hour slot your group(up to six people) will be allocated a specific start time. More information with your booking details.

Northumberland National Park operates our events in accordance with current government guidelines and our own strict and extensive risk assessments, in order to deliver an activities programme in a Covid-Secure manner.

We recommend familiarising yourself with our existing Booking Terms. Furthermore, we would like to draw your attention to the following conditions for all participants:

• Please do not attend an event if you or any members of your household, are currently showing symptoms of Coronavirus: Fever, Continuous Cough, Loss of Taste/Smell.
• Please do not attend an event if you or any members of your household, have been asked to self-isolate.
• Participants must abide by any health and safety measures and requests made by deliverers, staff or volunteers, and follow national safety guidelines. Full advice on measures in place at The Sill can be found here.
• Your booking details will be retained in accordance with Track and Trace protocols.

During the pandemic, it may be necessary to alter or cancel an event due to changing government guidelines and restrictions. We ask that you provide the most up to date email address at time of booking, and ensure it is entered correctly, as this will be the main method of correspondence. We advise you to check for any such updates before attending an event.
