The Sill: National Landscape Discovery Centre

The Sill is our brand new visitor attraction exciting and inspiring people of all ages to explore the landscape, history, culture and heritage of Northumberland.

The Sill Visitors Centre

The Sill features exhibitions, learning and event spaces, a local food café, a world-class Youth Hostel, rural business hub, and a shop specialising in local crafts and produce. The Sill is a real showcase of local pride and passion.

Walltown Visitor Centre

Ideally located near the Hadrian’s Wall World Heritage Site, this is a great place to start your day out. Walltown features a newly refurbished visitor facility offering a warm and inviting seating area, as well as new washroom and fully accessible toilet facilities with 24-hour access.
