Stonehaugh Forestry Commision Car Park

Our walk begins at Stonehaugh village forestry commission car park where we depart for Rose Bower. It then heads north passing a Romano British Farmstead before picking up the Pennine Way for the return journey to encounter some of our historic Bastles.

Dress for changeable weather and wear suitable footwear. Bring a packed lunch, snacks and a drink for the break.
Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Take the B6320 from Chollerford towards Bellingham. After 4 miles turn left signed Stonehaugh (immediately after Simonburn turning). Continue for 5 miles, turn right signed Stonehaugh, after 1 mile the car park is through the village on the left.
