Kirknewton Village hall

A lovely circular walk with plenty of climbing covering three peaks around the villages of Kirknewton and Hethpool. The walk of nearly 10 miles will climb to heights of above 500m giving panoramic views of the Cheviots and the North Sea. We will walk in part in the steps of St Cuthbert and at all times be on the lookout for the Yeavering wild goats.

Dress for changeable weather and wear suitable footwear. Bring a packed lunch, snacks and a drink for the break.
Dogs are not permitted at this event.

Going north past Wooler on the A697, turn left at Akeld onto the B6351. At Kirknewton village park alongside the village hall.
