Greenhaugh Car Park

Our Walk to Wellbeing Programme is the easy way to get out and get healthy in Northumberland National Park.

West Tynedale Health Walk Leaders have designed and are leading walks suitable for people wanting an easy introduction to the inspirational landscape of Northumberland National Park.

Join this walk and marvel at the blaze of colour and abundance of meadow flowers in one of the best hay meadows in the Northumberland National Park. We walk from the village of Greenhaugh, by and then through meadows looking out for Orchids, Yellow Rattle, the Melancholy Thistle and other rare and stunning flowers on the way. We will walk alongside the Tarset Burn, up over farmland with fine views over and around the historic and vibrant Tarset valley. All along, will listen and watch out for birdlife and signs of earlier habitation in this historic area.

We will end back at The Holly Bush Inn in Greenhaugh for refreshments.
